WHEREAS, The Paulson Community Center Advisory Council will be hosting a community outreach event on Saturday, September 9, 2006 at the Paulson Community Center that will bring together support services throughout Pittsburgh and unite them with those in need of their services; and
WHEREAS, the Paulson Back to School community event will focus on health awareness, life skills, and education for the members of the Lincoln- Lemington and Larimer communities and promote the knowledge that will assist in improving the quality of life for all residents; and
WHEREAS, in addition to information about community services, there will be food, games, and entertainment for youth and adults to encourage and foster community participation and bonds; and
WHEREAS, community leaders and civic leaders have come together to support the quality of life in the Lincoln-Lemington and Larimer communities by focusing on our youth and our young adults.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Council in the City of Pittsburgh does recognize and commend the dedication of the Paulson Center Advisory Council for being an integral part of a movement for community improvement and does wish them the best of luck on their first community event.
