AFFIRMATIVE RECOMMENDATION

Title

Resolution authorizing the transfer of $320,000 from the Bureau of Police salary account to the Non-Departmental–Citywide Judgments account.  The transfer is necessary to cover judgments against the City of Pittsburgh for the remainder of 2001.

Body

Be it resolved that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh hereby enacts as follows:

Section 1.                     The City Controller is hereby authorized and directed to transfer the amount of $320,000 from Police Salaries, Fund 1000, Organization 230000, Subclass 010, Budget Year 2001, Account 511000 to Non-departmentals – Citywide, Judgments account, Fund 1000, Organization 999200, Subclass 170, Budget Year 2001, Account 582200.
