Title: NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh acknowledges and commends Catherine Sismour for her outstanding achievements as a member of Heinz House.

WHEREAS, Catherine Sismour is sixteen years old and a resident of Pemberton Street in Brighton Heights, in the North Side of Pittsburgh. Catherine is a tenth grade student at Perry Traditional Academy; and
 
WHEREAS, Catherine has been chosen as the 2004 Sarah Heinz House Boys and Girls ClubYouth of the Year; and
 
WHEREAS, the 2004 Youth of the Year award is sponsored by Reader's Digest Foundation and administered by the Boys and Girls Clubs of America. This national program recognizes Exemplary character, superior leadership skills, academic achievement and outstanding service to both the Boys and Girls Club and the community; and
 
WHEREAS, Catherine has been a member at Sarah Heinz House for ten years. Her club activities include Vice President of the Keystone Club, Office Hostess/Towel Attendant, Weekly Volunteer, Most Outstanding Female Member, Christmas Play, and Resident Camp. She is also a member of Student Council, Varsity Basketball, and Varsity Softball at Perry Traditional Academy;
