Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh hereby enacts as follows:

Section 1.                     The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Public Safety or the Director of General Services, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, is hereby authorizing to enter into a Contract or Contracts or Agreement or Agreements, or use of existing Contracts and Agreements, in a form approved by the City Solicitor, for the purchase of SCBA equipment, accessories and supplies for the Bureau of Fire.  The total cost shall not exceed Fifteen Thousand Dollars ($15,000) chargeable to and payable from Fund 1000, Subclass 100, Account 534400, Org. No. 250000, Budget Year 2002, Bureau of Fire, Department of Public Safety.
