Resolution to acknowledge Private Soldier and Sailors Club as a civic and/or service organization within the context of the Pennsylvania Small Games of Chance Act.
WHEREAS, Private Soldier and Sailors Club is a non-profit organization that is organized as a civic and social organization for American military veteran's in the Pittsburgh neighborhood of Greenfield; and
WHEREAS, the Private Soldier and Sailors Club has been operating for over 30 years and sponsors community events including but not limited to Memorial Day observances within the community; and
WHEREAS, Private Soldier and Sailors Club desires to be more self-sufficient so it can support the programming and operations of the organization, the activities it provides to members, and efforts to improve quality of life of military veterans in the region.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh hereby recognizes Private Soldier and Sailors Club to be a civic and/or service organization within the context of the Pennsylvania Small Games of Chance Act, as amended.
