Title: WHEREAS on September 1, 1961, Reverend Victor Julius Grigsby was born to Reverend and Mrs. Canard S. Grigsby of Warrenton, Virginia; and WHEREAS in July of 1986, Reverend Grigsby was ordained as a minister at the Tabernacle Baptist Church of Beaver Falls, PA, after which he received a calling to serve as Pastor to the Second Baptist Church of Ford City, PA; and WHEREAS in his next and current position as Pastor of the Hill District's Central Baptist Church, Reverend Grigsby has tripled the size of Central Baptist's congregation since his arrival there in 1997, while additionally enhancing the scope of the Church's various ministries by creating over 40 ministries which include the Evangelistic, Intercessory Prayer, and VCP Men's Ministries; and WHEREAS Reverend Grigsby seeks to serve his congregants through his commitment to the spiritual and social revitalization of the Hill District via the introduction and implementation of a variety of projects such as a "Twenty Year Master Deve...

WHEREAS in July of 1986, Reverend Grigsby was ordained as a minister at the Tabernacle Baptist Church of Beaver Falls, PA, after which he received a calling to serve as Pastor to the Second Baptist Church of Ford City, PA; and
WHEREAS in his next and current position as Pastor of the Hill District's Central Baptist Church, Reverend Grigsby has tripled the size of Central Baptist's congregation since his arrival there in 1997, while additionally enhancing the scope of the Church's various ministries by creating over 40 ministries which include the Evangelistic, Intercessory Prayer, and VCP Men's Ministries; and
WHEREAS Reverend Grigsby seeks to serve his congregants through his commitment to the spiritual and social revitalization of the Hill District via the introduction and implementation of a variety of projects such as a "Twenty Year Master Development Plan," as well as participation in a number of community initiatives including the NEED scholarship program; and
WHEREAS in addition to his duties as Pastor, Reverend Grigsby has also held a number of positions on various boards and committees including but not limited to the Vice Presidency of Christian Education at the Allegheny Union Baptist Association, the Vice Presidency of the Allegheny County Prison Advisory Board, as well as participation in the Christian Associates of Western PA Theological Advisory Committee, the One Church One Child Adoption Program Committee, and the Board of the Sunrise Home Transitional Living Facility; and
WHEREAS Reverend Victor Julius Grigsby is also husband to Vickie LaVerne McKenzie Grigsby and father to their seven children; and
