Title
Resolution authorizing the Directors of Public Safety and the Department of Innovation & Performance to enter into an agreement or agreements and/or contract or contracts for the maintenance of the public security camera system, cost not to exceed two hundred thirty thousand one hundred ninety two dollars and sixty-four cents ($230,192.64) and providing for the payment of the costs thereof.
Whereas, the Pittsburgh Department of Public Safety can become more effective by investing in and maintaining Security Camera Technology; and,
Whereas, maintenance will be provided to the Department of Public Safety on the security camera hardware and software, through the Department of Innovation and Technology,.
Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1: The Directors of Public Safety and Innovation & Performance are hereby authorized and directed, in a form approved by the City Solicitor, to enter into agreement or agreements and/or contract or contracts or the use of existing contracts or agreements and other approved expenditures for maintenance to the city integrated security camera system. Cost not to exceed two hundred thirty thousand one hundred ninety two dollars and sixty-four cents ($230,192.64) and providing for the payment of the costs thereof. Funding for this project will be available in the following JD Edwards chartfield: 11101.53.53509 .103000.14 in the Department of Innovation and Performance.
