Resolution amending Resolution No. 718 of 2015 authorizing the Mayor and the Director of the Department of Public Safety to enter into an amended Professional Services Agreement or Agreements with Cover Your Assets, LLC, for an additional 12 months, at a cost not to exceed $175,000.00.

WHEREAS, the City and Cover Your Assets, LLC, have previously entered into a Professional Services Agreement ("Agreement") as authorized by Council Resolution No. 640 of 2013, as amended by Council Resolution Nos. 717 of 2014 and 718 of 2015 with said Agreement set to expire on October 31, 2016; and
WHEREAS, the City now seeks to further amend its Agreement with Cover Your Assets, LLC in order to extend the term thereof until October 31, 2017 in order that the City may continue to receive computer-based products, services, and training relating to scheduling management, particularly with regard to the scheduling of the Department of Public Safety's Secondary Employment and Special Events; and
WHEREAS, the parties seek to add $175,000.00 in compensation for an additional 12 months of services extending from November 1, 2016 until October 31, 2017 such that the Agreement's overall compensation payable to Cover Your Assets, LLC shall not exceed $673,325.52; and
Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Public Safety are hereby authorized, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, to enter into an Amended Professional Services Agreement or Agreements with Cover Your Assets, LLC, to provide the City with computer-based products, services, and training relating to scheduling management for a four-year contract beginning 2013 through 2017 at an overall cost not to exceed Six Hundred Seventy-Three Thousand Three Hundred and Twenty-Five Dollars and no Fifty-Two Cents ($673,325.52).
