WHEREAS, the Commonwealth requires the City to agree to reimburse it for any expenditure of RACP funds determined by the Commonwealth to be ineligible.


Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

Section 1. The Mayor and the director of the Department of Public Works of the City of Pittsburgh are authorized to enter into a Cooperation Agreement with the Urban Redevelopment Authority in order to receive a grant from the Pennsylvania Budget Office's Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program in the amount of TWO MILLION TWO HUNDRED TWENTY NINE THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED EIGHTY SEVEN ($2,229,987.00) dollars for the purpose of renovating the Brighton Heights Healthy Active Living Center. Monies from the grant agreement shall be deposited into the Grants Trust Fund Account 4029400429.45505.00.

Section 2. The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Public Works are further authorized to enter into Agreements, or Contracts, or utilize existing Agreements or Contracts not to exceed TWO MILLION TWO HUNDRED TWENTY NINE THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED EIGHTY SEVEN ($2,229,987.00) dollars for the purpose of renovating the Brighton Heights Healthy Active Living Center under the terms of the agreement between the City of Pittsburgh, the Urban Redevelopment Authority, and the Commonwealth. Costs are chargeable to and payable from the Grants Trust Fund account 4029400429.
