Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

Section 1. Providing for required assurances; providing for execution of payment vouchers and of certification of authorized signatures; providing for a contract or contracts with various agencies/employers for services and programs related to training and employment for Workforce Investment Act of 1998 (WIA) and/or the Joint Jobs Initiative Program Single Point of Contact (SPOC) and/or the Balanced Budget Act of 1997 (WTW) and providing for the deposit of funds into a bank account.

Section 1. The Mayor and the City of Pittsburgh is hereby authorized to file an application or applications in the form required by the U.S. Department of Labor and/or Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in connection with the Workforce Investment Act of 1998 (WIA) and/or the Joint Jobs Initiative Program Single Point of Contact (SPOC) and/or the Balanced Budget Act of 1997 (WTW) plan as amended; in order for a grant or grants to be made in connection with the Workforce Investment Act of 1998 (WIA) and/or the Joint Jobs Initiative Program Single Point of Co...
