Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
 
Section 1.  The Mayor and/or his designee, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh are hereby authorized to enter into an Agreement or Agreements, in a form approved by the City Solicitor, with various community organizations for operational/administrative expenses, maintenance, purchase of equipment and/or supplies; and/or rehabilitation of neighborhood facilities; and to incur costs related to administrative/operational costs, police overtime, maintenance, purchase of equipment and/or supplies, and/or rehabilitation of neighborhood facilities of various departmental programs/projects for the benefit of residents of the City of Pittsburgh, at a cost not to exceed $100,000, chargeable to and payable from the 2004 Community Development Block Grant Program -- Weed & Seed Program - Mayor's ULO; Account Number 500000; Fund 2610; Organization 102000;  Subclass; C2004; Project Grant G221450; Budget Year 2004.
 
Section 2.
 
That any Resolution or Ordinance or part thereof conflicting with the provisions of this Resolution is hereby repealed so far as the same affects this Resolution.
