Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

Section 1.      The Mayor is hereby authorized to issue and the City Controller to countersign a warrant in favor of the Richard S. Caliguiri Amyloidosis Foundation in an amount not to exceed thirteen thousand and five hundred and forty nine ($13,549.00), in connection with the 2009 Great Race contribution of $1 of the registration fee of each participant to be contributed to the Amyloidosis Fund; without previous authority of law, chargeable to and payable from Account 525500, Fund 7314, Organization 500000, Subclass 600, Year 2009, in the Department of Parks and Recreation.
