Resolution granting unto Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh, 3705 Fifth Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15213, their successors and assigns, the privilege and license to construct, maintain and use at their own cost and expense, a pedestrian protective railing along the 3400 block of Fifth Avenue in the 4th Ward, 6th & 8th Council Districts of the City of Pittsburgh.

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

Section 1. That the Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh, 3705 Fifth Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15213, their successors and assigns, are hereby granted the privilege to construct, maintain and use at their own cost and expense, a steel pedestrian protective railing along the 3400 block of Fifth Avenue:

Southerly side: A steel pedestrian protective railing with 3' 6” mesh in-fill panels, on the 8' foot sidewalk area of the 3400 block of Fifth Avenue, between Halkett Street and McKee, a total height of 4' feet, for a total distance of 632', with 35 steel bollards at both the beginning and ending terminus of each section, as per Drawing A1.01, Option B.

Northerly side: A steel pedestrian protective railing with standard 3' 6” panels, on the 11' 6 sidewalk area of the 3400 block of Fifth Avenue, at Darragh Street, a total height of 4', with 3 steel bollards at both the beginning and ending terminus of each section, for a total distance of 36' in length, extending from Darragh Street in a southwesterly direction, as per Drawing A1.01, Option A.

In the 4th Ward, 6th & 8th Council Districts of the City of Pittsburgh.

The said encroachment shall conform to the provisions of their resolution and in accordance with the Plan identified as Accession D-648 on file in the Division of Surveys, Department of Public Works.
