Resolution amending Resolution 106 of 1979 entitled "Resolution Authorizing and directing the City Treasurer, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, to accept funds from various public and private foundations, and individuals, organizations and agencies for Special Parks Programs, in the Department of Parks and Recreation, and to create a Special Parks' Programs Trust Fund, and to deposit all funds for said programs into said account; and providing for the payment of expenses in connection with the Special Parks' Programs" to rename it "Special Events Trust Fund" and to define the sources and uses of the fund.

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. The City Treasurer, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, is hereby authorized to accept funds from various public and private individuals, foundations, and organizations and agencies, for such costs as salaries, materials, supplies, and miscellaneous services and expenses in connection with Special Parks Programs, in the Department of Parks and Recreation.The City Controller is hereby authorized and directed to create a special trust fund to be designated "Special Parks' Programs Special Events Trust Fund" to be used in support of Community Footraces, Cinema in the Park, Public Community Festivals, and other such events as managed by the Office of Special Events. All revenues related to these events, including sponsorships, donations, and registration fees shall be deposited into this trust fund. into which account there shall be deposited such private and public funds, grants, donations or fees as may be provided for the Special Parks' Programs.
Section 3 2. The Department of Parks and Recreation Public Safety - Office of Special Events , and other such departments as designated by the Director of the Office of Management and Budget, and the City Controller are hereby authorized and directed to provide for the payment of expenses for equipment, supplies, repairs, mai...
