Title

Resolution approving Execution of a Contract for Disposition by Sale of Land by and between the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh and MMAT Development, or an entity to be formed, for the sale of Block 61-C, Part of Lots 24 and 125, in the 19th Ward of the City of Pittsburgh  (Council District No. 4 Dunster-Timberland Plan of Lots - Residential Construction).

 

Body

Whereas, pursuant to Ordinance 417, approved October 12, 1972, and in the manner prescribed by the Urban Redevelopment Law, Act of May 24, 1945, P.L. 991, as amended, the Neighborhood Housing Fund Cooperation Agreement was approved; and

 

Whereas, the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh has requested authorization to execute a Contract for Disposition by Sale of Land by and between the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh and MMAT Development, or an entity to be formed, in connection with the sale of Block 61-C, Part of Lots 24 and 125, for $104,900.00 plus costs, said property being located in the 19th Ward of the City of Pittsburgh.

 

Whereas, Block 61-C, Part of Lots 24 and 125 is being acquired by monies from the Neighborhood Housing Fund; and

 

Whereas, the Council of the City of Pittsburgh believes that the proposed Contract is in the best interests of the City of Pittsburgh and the desires to give its approval in accordance with the provisions of the Urban Redevelopment Law.

 

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

 

Section 1.  That the execution of the Contract for Disposition by Sale of Land by and between the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh and MMAT Development, or an entity to be formed, in connection with the sale of Block 61-C, Part of Lots 24 and 125, said property being located in the 19th Ward of the City of Pittsburgh, be and the same is hereby approved, said Contract being in conformity with the Neighborhood Housing Fund Cooperation Agreement:
