Title: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh thanks Josephine Patterson for her 20 years of dedicated and professional service to the City of Pittsburgh and wishes her well in her retirement; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh hereby declares May 7, 2009, “Josephine Patterson Day” in the City of Pittsburgh.

WHEREAS, Josephine Patterson has worked for the City of Pittsburgh for 20 years and will retire on May 8, 2009; and
 
WHEREAS, Ms. Patterson started her employment with the City as a Clerk Typist in the Law Department's Real Estate Division and was promoted to the position of Real Estate Technician in January of 2001; and
 
WHEREAS, Ms. Patterson is a lifelong resident of the City of Pittsburgh and resides in the Point Breeze neighborhood; and
 
WHEREAS, Ms. Patterson has three children, Jennifer, Amy and Stephen, and is soon to be a grandmother to her first grandchild.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh thanks Josephine Patterson for her 20 years of dedicated and professional service to the City of Pittsburgh and wishes her well in her retirement; and
 
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh hereby declares May 7, 2009, "Josephine Patterson Day" in the City of Pittsburgh.
