WHEREAS, in a climate where women owned businesses strive to earn credibility, respect and stature, the Murray Avenue Apothecary is an entrepreneurial effort notable for its mission and success; and,
WHEREAS, Murray Avenue Apothecary is a Compounding Pharmacy Boutique and patient centered practice founded in 2007 by Susan Merenstein, an RPh and holistic clinical pharmacist with over 36 years of pharmacy experience; and,
WHEREAS, the mission of the Murray Avenue Apothecary is to create a triad of holistic health between the physician, pharmacist and patient, providing individualized compounded medication solutions and wellness services that meet the specific needs of each patient; and,
WHEREAS, changing with the times, the Murray Avenue Apothecary is the only Green Pharmacy in the City of Pittsburgh, keeping up with the latest trends in holistic treatments and compounding while remaining a warm and welcoming destination for health and wellness. Murray Avenue Apothecary is also the exclusive retailer of an affordable non-toxic skin care line and also provides a full range of pet services in their Pet Pharmacy which provides veterinarians and animal care specialist a variety of services to manage animal medication problems; and,
WHEREAS, Murray Avenue Apothecary offers a broad based range of services that include hormone therapies, options for children and the elderly, treatment for pain and neuropathy, cancer and comfort products, gluten-free medications, diabetic care, hair regrowth treatments, pet medications, green options and one on one consultations and is celebrating its 10 year anniversary offering these services to the community; and,
