Resolution repealing Resolution No. 790, effective December 13, 2001, which authorized a Cooperation Agreement or Agreements with the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh designating the Urban Redevelopment Authority as the City's agent for the construction of the Near Strip District Trail at a cost not to exceed $337,575.00.

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. Resolution 790, effective December 13, 2001, which presently reads as follows:
The Mayor and the Director of the Department of City Planning are hereby authorized to enter into a Cooperation Agreement or Agreements with the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh ("URA") providing for the design, construction and inspection by URA of an approximately 1000-foot segment of trail known as the Near Strip District Trail along the south shore of the Allegheny River between 11th Street and the Boardwalk entertainment facility in the Strip District, the dedication of the work to the City of Pittsburgh, the waiver of permit fees for contractors employed by URA in the construction thereof, the payment of an administrative fee of 5% of the project cost to URA and providing for the transfer to URA of an amount not to exceed Three Hundred Thirty-seven Thousand Five Hundred and Seventy-five ($337,575.00) Dollars, chargeable to and payable from the following accounts:
Trail Development: Account - 500000; Fund - 5100; Org - 110000; Subclass - PGHPR; Project/Grant No - 2205904; BY - 2001; $312,575
Funding For Recreation Matching Grants: Account - 500000; Fund - 5100; Org - 110000; Subclass - PGHPR; Project/Grant No - 2267026; BY - 2001; $25,000
