Resolution authorizing execution of a Deed, pursuant to the Summerset Cooperation Agreement of 2002, by and between the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh and the City of Pittsburgh for the sale of seven (7) parcels located in the 14 Ward of the City of Pittsburgh designated in the Deed Registry Office of Allegheny County as Block 088-L, Lot 150, Block 088-M, Lot 200, Block 088-H, Lot 161, Block 128-R, Lot 100, Block 128-R, Lot 200, Block 129-A, Lot 160, and Block 129-N, Lot 040 (Council District 5), at no cost to the City.

WHEREAS, the City of Pittsburgh consented to this conveyance in the Cooperation Agreement entered into by the City of Pittsburgh and the Urban Redevelopment Authority on the 26th of July in 2002; and
WHEREAS, the Director of the Department of Public Works now requests authorization to execute a Deed and/or Deeds by and between the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh and the City of Pittsburgh for the conveyance of seven parcels in the Summerset at Frick Park development in the City of Pittsburgh at no cost to the City.
Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. The Mayor and the Directors of the Department on Department of Public Works on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh are authorized to execute all relevant documents to accept from the Urban Redevelopment Authority certain parcels listed and described further in Section 2 of this resolution.
Section 2. The execution of a Deed and/or Deeds by and between the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh and the City of Pittsburgh for the sale of the following listed seven parcels for sum of $1.00, is hereby approved:
i. Block 088-L, Lot 150 in the 14th Ward of the City of Pittsburgh
ii. Block 088-M, Lot 200 in the 14th Ward of the City of Pittsburgh
iii. Block 088-H, Lot 161 in the 14th Ward of the City of Pittsburgh
iv. Block 128-R, Lot 100 in the 14th Ward of the City of Pittsburgh
