Title: WHEREAS, William P. McCoullum was hired as a laborer in the City Garage Department on March 20, 1972; and, WHEREAS, Mr. McCoullum was promoted to Truck Driver in October 1979 and then transferred to Asphalt Division in January 1980; and, WHEREAS, Mr. McCoullum transferred to 2nd Division in 2004 and remained there until his retirement on September 13 2021; and, WHEREAS, Mr. McCoullum has accumulated 635 hours (79 1/2 days of sick time) and accumulated the maximum allotted sick time of 112 days during his tenure; and,

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby commend William McCoullum for 49 years of dedication as a city employee ; and,

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare Tuesday, September 14, 2021, to be “William P. McCoullum Day” in the City of Pittsburgh.
