Title
Resolution providing for the renaming closing of the Asphalt Reimbursement Trust Fund (Fund 8710), to and for the creation of the Public Works Reimbursement Trust Fund, and providing for the deposit and expenditure of reimbursements received from other Governmental agencies, for Public Works related activities.

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
 
Section 1.      The City Controller is hereby authorized and directed to rename close the Asphalt Reimbursement Trust Fund (Fund 8710), and to create the Public Works Trust Fund, into which shall be deposited all reimbursements from other Governmental agencies to include but not limited to Federal, State, County, Municipal and City agencies and authorities. Such monies deposited into this Trust Fund shall be used by the Department of Public Works, for the benefit of the Department, using contract or contracts, or the use of existing contracts, or other approved expenditures for the payment of expenses for supplies, equipment, vehicles, utilities, materials, rentals, professional and miscellaneous services and any other services required in connection therewith. All expenditures must be approved by the Director of the Department of Public Works.  All expenditures not already approved by City Council from the trust fund through the normal legislative process, with the exception of salt, must be approved by City Council in a manner prescribed by Council's Budget Office.
