Resolution authorizing the Mayor and the Director of the Department of Public Works, to execute relevant agreements to receive grant funding from the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection to conduct public outreach surrounding the City’s recycling program and purchase a roll off truck and containers to collect glass; and further providing for an agreement or agreements and expenditures not to exceed TWO HUNDRED FIFTY THOUSAND ($250,000.00) dollars for this stated purpose.

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Public Works are authorized to execute relevant agreements with the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection in order to receive a grant award in the amount of TWO HUNDRED FIFTY THOUSAND ($250,000.00) dollars for the purpose of conducting public outreach surrounding the City’s recycling program and purchasing a roll off truck and containers to collect glass. Monies from the grant agreement shall be deposited into the Grants Trust Fund account 4029400257.45505.00.
Section 2. The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Public Works are further authorized to enter into agreements and contracts, or utilize existing agreements or contracts, at a cost not to exceed TWO HUNDRED FIFTY THOUSAND ($250,000.00) dollars, for the purposes of conducting public outreach surrounding the City’s recycling program and purchasing a roll off truck and containers to collect glass under the terms of the agreement between the City of Pittsburgh and the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection; chargeable to and payable from the Grants Trust Fund account 4029400257.50000.00.
