Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh hereby enacts as follows:

Section 1.  The Mayor and/or the Director of the Department of Public Safety or Director of the Department of General Services, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are hereby authorized to advertise for proposals and to award and enter into an Agreement or Agreements, or use existing Agreements and/or Contract or Contracts, or use existing Contracts for the purchase of communications equipment and related accessories for the Bureau of Fire at a cost not to exceed Thirty Thousand Dollars ($30,000.00) chargeable to and payable from Account 544000, Fund 5100, Organization 250000, Sub-Class PGHPR, Project/Grant 2263001, Budget Year 2001, Department of Public Safety.
