Resolution repealing Resolution No. 561, approved June 14, 1985 entitled "Providing for the implementation of a Residential Parking Permit Program in the Wallingford Street and Canterbury Lane Area pursuant to Pittsburgh Code, Chapter 549."

Body
Be it resolved that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh hereby enacts as follows:

Section 1. Resolution No. 561, approved June 14, 1985, which initially created Residential Parking Permit Program Area "J" and which presently reads as follows:

As provided in the Pittsburgh Code, Chapter 549, entitled: "Residential Parking Permit Program," a parking management plan is adopted as follows;

Within the area bounded by: Wallingford, from Neville to Morewood; Bayard Street, from Devonshire Street to Amberson Avenue; Devonshire Street, from Wallingford Street to Bayard Street; Morewood Avenue, from Centre Avenue to Castleman Street; Castleman Street from Morewood Avenue to Amberson Avenue.

Motorized vehicular parking shall be restricted to a one (1) hour time limit, between the hours of 8:00 A.M. - 6:00 P.M., Monday through Friday, except for vehicles displaying a valid zone "J" residential permit or visitor's pass, and

that residential parking permits be sold only to legal residents who have a valid vehicle registration, or to a person who owns or leases commercial property; and that residency be verified by a valid lease, or utility bill or a notarized letter from the landlord; and

that the fee for the residential parking permit shall be ten (10) dollars for one year; and

that one (1) visitor's permit shall be issued free to each eligible parking permit applicant and at a cost of one (1) dollar for each eligible household without a car.

That Amberson Towers will be eligible to purchase visitors' permits with the following conditions:
1.They be used solely for visitors to Amberson Towers.
2. Visitors using the permits park only on Bayard adjacent...
