Body
WHEREAS, 2013 is the thirteenth year that The Pittsburgh Newspaper Guild/CWA 38061 and the Pittsburgh Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA) have joined forces to “satirize Pittsburgh for a good cause” with their creation and performance of Off The Record; and

WHEREAS, twelve years ago Post-Gazette reporter-columnist Gary Rotstein and theatre maven Chris Rawson joined forces to write and produce this annual musical satire, which benefits various local charities and features a cast of acting professionals--with a few amateurs and politicians thrown in for laughs; and

WHEREAS, now in its unlucky 13th year, Off The Record will be graced with the acting styles of Councilwoman Natalia Rudiak, former Councilman Doug Shields, and one surprise political cameo--and will rely mainly on skilled performers including Barbara Russell, Bingo O'Malley, David Flick, Don DiGiulio, Christine Laitta, Kevin Brown, and Michael E. Moats; and

WHEREAS, not passing up an opportunity to be under the spotlight, KDKA's Jon Delano, KDKA's Ken Rice, and guest humorist--or “prebuttalist,” as he'll be given a chance to launch his own comic attack before the curtain open...
