Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

Section 1.                     The Mayor and the Director of Finance, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are hereby authorized to execute an agreement granting to Pennsylvania Department of Transportation a permanent easement for the purpose of staging future road construction projects and storage of materials on City of Pittsburgh parcel 5-B-199 fronting on Wabash St. in the 20th Ward. Said agreement shall be on the form approved by the City Solicitor and shall contain such terms and conditions for the protection of the City of the City of Pittsburgh as the Solicitor may require. The description and location of the property is further shown on Exhibit A-1.  There is no cost to The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation as this easement is part of our continued partnership with The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation to provide adequate transportation and road services to the residents of Pittsburgh.
