Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

 

Section 1. The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Public Works of the City of Pittsburgh, are authorized to enter into a Cooperation Agreement with the Urban Redevelopment Authority, in order to receive a grant from the Pennsylvania Budget Office Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program, in the amount of ONE MILLION FIVE HUDNRED THOUSAND ($1,500,000.00) DOLLARS, for the renovation of Warrington Recreation Center. Monies from the grant agreement shall be deposited into the Grants Trust Fund account: 4029400403.45505.00.

 

Section 2. The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Public Works, are further authorized to enter into an agreement or agreements, and/or a contract or contracts, or utilize existing agreements or contracts, not to exceed ONE MILLION FIVE HUDNRED THOUSAND ($1,500,000.00) DOLLARS, for the purpose of renovating Warrington Recreation Center under the terms of the agreement between the City of Pittsburgh, the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh, and the Pennsylvania Budget Office, chargeable to and payable from the appropriate expenditure line in the Grants Trust Fund account 4029400403.

 

Section 3. Local match of $1,500,000.00 shall come from the 2021 Capital Budget, JDE JOB NO. 4550100221 (Warrington Rec Center) for a total project cost of THREE MILLION ($3,000,000.00) DOLLARS.
