WHEREAS, Joe Kleppick was born and raised in the Greenfield community, He began his educational career at Greenfield Elementary School and is now a senior at Taylor Allderdice High School; and,
WHEREAS, he is currently involved in many different activities at Allderdice some of which include being Assistant Producer for the school musical, student liaison for the PTO/PSCC, sports team manager for the football team, girls basketball team and the swimming team; and,
WHEREAS, He is also involve in the Greenfield community serving on the board of the Greenfield Organization Board of Directors, he is a member of Greenfield Organized Against Drugs (GOAD), The Greenfield Baseball Association, and Greenfield Soccer to name a few; and,
WHEREAS, Joe Kleppick has also volunteered for many political campaigns here in the Pittsburgh area.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby commend Joe Kleppick on his volunteerism efforts in the community of Greenfield helping to make it a better place for all residents; and,
NOW BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare Tuesday March 22, 2005 to be "Joe Kleppick Day" here in the City of Pittsburgh.
