Title: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby commend all of the 2005 Core Series graduates for their service to their communities; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare Tuesday, June 28, 2005, to be "CTAC Core Series Day" in the City of Pittsburgh.

WHEREAS, the Community Technical Assistance Center (CTAC) is a non-profit corporation committed to building and strengthening effective community-based organizations through training and individualized consulting services; and,
WHEREAS, CTAC's goal is to develop strong communities by providing technical assistance to neighborhood groups, tenant councils, community-based organizations and community development corporations in Southwestern Pennsylvania; and,
WHEREAS, CTAC's Core Series of seminars sharpens the skills required to build and operate an effective community-based organization through highly interactive programs tailored to meet the needs of community-based organizations in Southwestern Pennsylvania facilitated by the American Society of Training and Development's highly skilled professional trainers from corporate and consulting circles; and,
WHEREAS, the following individuals have successfully completed CTAC's 2005 Core Series program:
