Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

Section 1.  The Mayor and/or the Director of the Department of Public Safety or Director of the Department of General Services, or the Director of City Information Systems, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are hereby authorized to advertise for proposals and to award and enter into an Agreement or Agreements, or use existing Agreements and/or Contract or Contracts, or use existing Contracts for the purchase of mobile data computers and related accessories and replacement parts for the Bureau of Police at a cost not to exceed Two Hundred Seventy Five Thousand Dollars ($275,000) chargeable to and payable from Account 540000, Fund 5100, Organization 200000, Subclass PGHPR, Project Grant 2267170, Budget Year 2002, Department of Public Safety.
