Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
 
Section 1.  The Mayor or the Director of the Department of General Services and the Director of the Department of Public Works, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are hereby authorized to advertise for proposals and to award and to enter into a Contract or Contracts or to use existing Contracts, to enter into an Agreement or Agreements or to use existing Agreements, and providing for repairs, improvements, emergencies and/or the purchase of materials, equipment and supplies in connection with the Renovation of Various Play Areas, at a cost not to exceed $50,000.00 chargeable to and payable from the following account:
