Title

Resolution approving the recommendation made by the Director of the Department of Mobility and Infrastructure that Children’s Way and Allegheny Square East, in the neighborhood of Allegheny Center, Twenty-Second Ward, be paved with asphalt from origin to terminus in accordance with Section 417.06 of the Pittsburgh Code of Ordinances.

 

Body

WHEREAS, Section 417.06 of the Pittsburgh Code of Ordinances requires final legislative approval of City Council upon recommendation of the Director, Department of Mobility and Infrastructure (DOMI) to pave with asphalt a street that is currently brick, block stone, wood, or concrete; and

 

WHEREAS, Children’s Way and Allegheny Square East are currently concrete and the Director of the Department of Mobility and Infrastructure recommends that such streets have an overlay of asphalt; and

 

WHEREAS, the City of Pittsburgh wishes to advance the paving of the concrete portions of Children’s Way and Allegheny Square East, from their origins to their termini with an asphalt overlay as recommended by the Director of the Department of Mobility and Infrastructure.

 

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

 

Section 1. The Director of the Department of Mobility and Infrastructure is authorized to pave the concrete portions of Children’s Way and Allegheny Square East, from their respective origins to their termini with an overlay of asphalt.

 

Section 2. Any Resolution, Ordinance or parts of the same which are inconsistent with the provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed to the extent of the conflict or inconsistency.
