• Title: Whereas, Jacqueline "Jacki" Troiani, while born in Ocean Side, Callifornia, has become one of Pittsburgh's finest adopted daughters; and Whereas, Jacki Troiani has been a devoted civic leader serving more than 20 years as a Guild Member for the Civic Light Opera, nearly a decade on the Board of the Parent and Child Guidance Center and raising over $100,00 dollars for the Make Wish Foundation; and Whereas, Jacki Troiani, who trained in Italy and Canada to become a Master Chef, has shared her culinary bravura cooking for more than 50 stars of stage and screen including Michael Keaton, Paul Hogan and Peter Falk and now shares it with the Pittsburgh patrons of Papa J's Ristorante, where she serves as Director of Food Service and Staff Training; and Whereas, Jacki has also contributed to Pittsburgh's legacy by parenting eight children and being a grandparent of eleven; and Whereas, Jacki's 60th Birthday will be celebrated on Saturday, May 12, 2007 at the GAA with Jacki's husba...

Now, therefore, be it resolved, that the City Council of Pittsburgh joins in celebration of Jacqueline "Jacki" Troiani's rich life and contribution to Pittsburgh by naming May 12^th Jacki Troiani Day in the City of Pittsburgh.
