WHEREAS, Pittsburgh Musical Theater (PMT) is a non-profit 501(c) (3) organization determined by the IRS in July, 1993; and,
WHEREAS, PMT maintains its principal place of business and conducts its principal activities in the City of Pittsburgh; and,
WHEREAS, PMT is a children’s Theater Company designed as an outreach providing a live theater experience free of charge to community children. They also provide educational and performance opportunities to all youth in our community regardless of income; and,
WHEREAS, the Applicant desires to operate certain small games of chance and/or conduct raffles to generate funds for a one year time period; and,

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh hereby recognize Pittsburgh Musical Theater to be a civic and/or service organization within the context of the Pennsylvania Small Games of Chance Act, as amended.
