Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
 
Section. 1.  The Mayor and the Director of Personnel and Civil Service Commission, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are hereby authorized to enter into an agreement or agreements in a form approved by the City Solicitor, with medical facility(ies), physicians and/or treatment providers to provide professional services in connection with the administration and evaluation of medical examinations and related tests, procedures and services for the Civil Service Commission's medical examination program for current and prospective employees, and for employee assistance program services at a cost not to exceed One Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($150,000), chargeable to and payable from Account 574600,  Fund 1000, Sub Class 040, Organization Code 999300, Department of Personnel and Civil Service Commission, Budget year 2005.
 
      These professional services will include but not be limited to:
 
      Pre-employment medical examinations      Medical Review Officer (MRO) functions
      Promotional medical examinations            DOT and non-DOT drug and alcohol       Return-to-Work medical examinations      testing
      Employee Assistance Program services      Specimen collection services
