Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
 
Section 1.      The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Personnel and Civil Service Commission, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are hereby authorized to enter into Professional Service Agreement(s) and/or Contracts, in a form approved by the City Solicitor, with consultants and/or service providers to provide professional services in connection with Civil Service and MPOETC required assessment and evaluation of Public Safety candidates (Police Officer Recruits and Paramedics) at a cost not to exceed Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00), chargeable to and payable from Account #526100, Fund 1000, Sub Class 150, Organization Code 109000, Department of Personnel and Civil Service Commission, Budget Year 2008.
 
These services will include but are not be limited to the administration and evaluation of required psychological assessments, as required by the State of Pennsylvania's Municipal Police Officers' Education and Training Commission (MPOETC) and/or the Civil Service Commission.
