Title
Resolution authorizing an Agreement or Agreements with a consultant or consultants for medical direction services for the Bureau of Emergency Medical Services, Department of Public Safety, and providing for the payment of the cost thereof, cost not to exceed $21,500.00.
 
Body
Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
 
Section 1.      The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Public Safety or the Chief of the Bureau of Emergency Medical Services, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are hereby authorized to enter into an Agreement or Agreements, or to supplement existing agreements, in a form approved by the City Solicitor, for the provision of medical direction services for a period of (4) four years, 2006-2010 , commencing July 1, 2006  and continuing through  June 30, 2010, at a cost not exceed Twenty-one Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($21,500.00) in BY 2006, chargeable to and payable from Fund 1000, Subclass 150, Org No.220000, Account 526100,  Budget Year 2006, Bureau of Emergency Medical Services, Department of Public Safety.
 
Section 2 .      The City Controller shall encumber funds for the 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010 contract years from and subject to the amount of funds to be appropriated by City Council in respective budget years from Fund 1000, Subclass 150, Org. No. 220000, Account 526100, Department of Public Safety.  The annual cost in years 2006-2010 may not exceed Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00) per contract year.
