Resolution authorizing the Mayor and the Department of Finance to enter into a grant agreement with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Office of Commonwealth Libraries to receive Keystone Recreation, Park, and Conservation Fund grant monies in the amount of $300,000 that will be used by the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh to upgrade the existing lighting in the Stacks of the Main Library.

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Finance are hereby authorized to enter into an Agreement with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Office of Commonwealth Libraries, for $300,000 in Keystone Recreation, Park, and Conservation fund grant monies to be used by the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh to upgrade existing lighting in the Stacks of the Main Library. Grant money will be deposited into the Grants Trust Fund: Fund 2940, Organization Code 107000, Project PR10031, Budget Year 2009, Office of the Mayor.
Section 2. The Mayor and the Director of Finance, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are hereby further authorized to enter into a Cooperation Agreement with the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh regarding the Library's use of the $300,000 in Keystone Recreation, Park, and Conservation grant monies for the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh to upgrade the lighting in the Stacks of the Main Library under the terms and conditions of the Grant Agreement with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Office of Commonwealth Libraries as outlined in Section 1 of this resolution. Reimbursement Invoices will be submitted to the Department of Finance and shall be paid out of the Grants Trust Fund: Fund 2940, Organization Code 107000, Project PR10031, Budget Year 2009, Office of the Mayor.
