Title

Resolution changing the name of a portion of Allegheny Square West and accepting the naming of property adjacent to the Children's Museum.  These locations will be called Children's Way, in the 22^nd Ward, 1^st District of the City of Pittsburgh.

Body

Whereas, by request on file in the office of the City Clerk, the majority of the property owners abutting on said locations have requested the Council of the City of Pittsburgh to change the name of said Allegheny Square West and parcel adjacent to Lot and Blocks 8-C-128 & 8-C-134 to Children's Way now, therefore:

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

Section 1.  That the name of Allegheny Square West from West Commons eastwardly to the previously vacated S. Diamond Street W (Ordinance No. 410 of 1965); thence northerly to the southerly line of vacation Res. No. 303, effective May 15, 2002 is hereby changed to Children's Way; and accepting the naming of property adjacent to Lot and Block 8-C-134 (Children's Museum) and 8-C-128, from the southerly line of vacation Res. No. 303, effective May 15, 2002, westerly to West Commons, as Children's Way, in the 22^nd Ward, 1^st Council District of the City of Pittsburgh.
