Resolution amending Resolution 394 of 2018 to clarify the appropriate Neighborhood Stabilization Program reference.

WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution 394 of 2018, effective June 28, 2018, the Mayor and Office of Management and Budget were authorized to enter into a cooperation agreement or agreements with the Urban Redevelopment Authority to designate the URA as the City’s agent for implementation of a Neighborhood Stabilization Program grant of up to Two Million Dollars from the Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency; and
WHEREAS, the title of the Resolution incorrectly mentioned the Neighborhood Stabilization Program (“NSP”) 3 and Section of the Resolution did not specify a particular program number; and
WHEREAS, the City and URA are required to specify that the grant is part of NSP 1.
Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1: Section 1 of Resolution 394 of 2018 is hereby amended to read as follows:
Section 1. The Mayor and the Office of Management and Budget, are hereby authorized to enter into a cooperation agreement or agreements with Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh (“URA”), in a form approved by the City Solicitor, designating URA as the City's agent for implementation of a Neighborhood Stabilization Program 1 (“NSP 1”) grant of up to TWO MILLION DOLLARS ($2,000,000.00) from the Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency (“PHFA”) and/or the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development (“DCED”), requiring compliance by URA with PHFA’s and/or DCED’s NSP 1 requirements, providing for the reimbursement of the Commonwealth for any expenditure of NSP funds found by PHFA and/or DCED to be ineligible, and providing for the transfer to URA of the amount of NSP 1 funds received from PHFA and/or DCED or $2,000,000.00, whichever is less, chargeable to and payable from the Grants Trust Fund: 8229400247.50000.00.
