Title
Resolution authorizing the Mayor and the Director of the Department of City Planning to enter into an Agreement with The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to receive Keystone Recreation, Park and Conservation Fund grant monies that will be used to renovate the Woods Run Branch of the library.  
 
Body
WHEREAS, the City and the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh (the "Library") have entered into a lease agreement dated July 31, 2003, for the Woods Run Branch of the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh; and
 
WHEREAS, as Lessee of the Woods Run Branch, Library requested that the City serve as a co-applicant for grant funds from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to make capital improvements to the facility; and
 
WHEREAS, the City has now been awarded $400,000 in Keystone Recreation, Park and Conservation Fund monies to be used for Woods Run Library renovations.
 
Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
 
Section 1.  The Mayor and the Director of the Department of City Planning are hereby authorized to enter into an Agreement with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Office of Commonwealth Libraries, for $400,000 in Keystone Recreation, Park, and Conservation fund grant monies to be used for the renovation of the Woods Run Branch of the Library.
