Resolution providing for an Agreement or Agreements for the grant of easements to South Pittsburgh, LLC, 150 East Broad Street, Suite 200, Columbus, OH 43215, for construction and installation of concrete footers, awnings, canopies and porches on and under portions of East Carson Street, South 25th Street and South 26th Street in the 16th Ward, 3rd Council District of the City of Pittsburgh.

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. Whereas, South Pittsburgh, LLC proposes to construct a five (5) building apartment complex containing 270 units and approximately 16,000 square feet of retail space; and
Whereas, South Pittsburgh has requested grants of easements for the construction, maintenance and use of a cornice, four (4) canopies with concrete footers, and two(2) porches on the right-of-way of South 25th Street; a cornice, two (2) awnings, three (3) brick piers and foundations on the right-of-way of East Carson Street; and four (4) canopies with concrete footers, two (2) porches with concrete footers and five (5) footers for concrete stoops on the right-of-way of South 26th Street, as described in Exhibit A, Parcel A1, in the South Side Works Plan of Lots No. 11, in the 16th Ward, 3rd Council District of the City of Pittsburgh; and
Whereas, said grants of easements shall be on certain terms and conditions to be set forth in an Easement Agreement between the City of Pittsburgh ("City") and South Pittsburgh.
Now, therefore, be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh, as follows:
Section 1: The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Public Works, on behalf of the City, are hereby authorized to enter into an Agreement or Agreements with South Pittsburgh, to be approved in form and substance by the City Solicitor, providing for the grant of easements to South Pittsburgh for the construction, use and ...
