Resolution authorizing and directing the City Controller to create a special trust fund, to be designated as the GREAT Trust Fund, for the deposit of grant monies and authorizing the use of said funds for the operation of the G.R.E.A.T. Program.

Body

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

Section 1.  The City Controller is hereby authorized and directed to create a special trust fund to be designated as the GREAT Trust Fund, Fund 2438, Org. No. 230000, Subclass 600 into which shall be deposited any and all grant monies received from the federal and/or state government and authorizing the use of monies deposited into said Trust Fund for any and all expenses associated with the implementation and operation of the GREAT program, including: salaries; premium pay; services; maintenance; rentals; supplies; repairs; equipment; materials; professional services; travel and training; communications equipment; purchase, lease or renting of vehicles; extended warranties for vehicles; and vehicle maintenance and fuel.
