• Title: NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby commend Reverend Glenn G. Grayson for his long and distinctive service to his congregation and community; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare Sunday, September 18, 2016 to be "Reverend Glenn G. Grayson Appreciation Day" in the City of Pittsburgh.

WHEREAS, on Sunday, December 1, 1996, Reverend Glenn G. Grayson delivered his first sermon as the Pastor of the Wesley Center AME Zion Church; and,

WHEREAS, with 2 amazing decades, Reverend Grayson continues to share his gift of fellowship with his congregation. The growth of Wesley Center AME Zion Church has been unprecedented; and,

WHEREAS, starting Wednesday, September, 14 2016 through Sunday, September 18 2016, several churches, throughout the City of Pittsburgh, will host revivals series, celebratory events, and church services to celebrate the 20^th Anniversary of Reverend Glenn G. Grayson as pastor of the Wesley Center AME Zion Church; and,
