Title

Resolution authorizing and directing the City Controller to create a special trust fund, to be designated as the Emergency Medical Services Pulse Trust Fund ( EMSPTF), for the deposit of monies received from the Pulse Foundation.

Body

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

Section 1.      The City Controller is hereby authorized to create a special trust fund, to be designated as the Emergency Medical Services Pulse Trust Fund (EMSPTF), into which trust fund there shall be deposited any and all monies received from the PULSE Program / Laurel Foundation).  Monies deposited in said trust fund shall be used to defray any maintenance costs and replacement of adjunct equipment associated with the Automatic External Defibrillators (AED's) that were placed in various communities.  Once the P.U.L.S.E. carry over funds are exhausted, the trust fund will be terminated.
