Resolution vacating Gasoline Street and a portion of First Avenue (formerly Greenough Street)in the 1st Ward, 6th Council District, of the City of Pittsburgh.

WHEREAS, it appears by the petition and affidavit on file in the Office of the City Clerk that the owners of all the property fronting or abutting on the line of Gasoline Street and First Avenue in the 1st Ward, 6th Council District of the City of Pittsburgh, have petitioned the council of the City of Pittsburgh to enact a resolution for the vacation of same, and
WHEREAS, said petition contains inter-alia, an indemnification of the city from any claims and from the payment of any damages whatsoever resulting to any properties owned by the petitioners or by and persons whatsoever, abutting or non-abutting, for or by reason of said vacation; therefore
Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. That vacating Gasoline Street and a portion of First Avenue as described below:
Description 1:
Beginning at a point on the northwest corner of Gasoline Street at the intersection of Second Avenue, thence eastwardly S 60º 59' 30” E a distance of 30.05 feet to a point; thence southerly S 27º 01' 00” W a distance of 109.76 feet to a point; thence westerly N 62º 48' 00” W a distance of 30.03 feet to a point on the line of property now or formerly Crescent Realty & Investment Company, Lot and Block Parcel 2-J-260, thence along said line in a northerly direction N 27º 01' 00” E a distance of 110.71 feet to the point of the beginning, containing 3, 310 square feet.

Beginning at a point at the southwest corner of Lot and Block Parcel 2-N-40 at the intersection of Gasoline Street and First Avenue (formerly Greenough Street), thence easterly S 62º 48' 00” E a distance of 32.03 feet to a point, thence S 27º 12' 00” W a distance of 30.03 feet to a point, thence N 62º 48' 00” W a distance of 61.96 feet to...
