Title

Resolution providing that the City of Pittsburgh enter into a temporary professional services agreement for the purpose of providing an excess worker's compensation insurance policy, cost not to exceed $363,320.00.

Body

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

Section 1.      The Mayor and the Acting Director of the Department of Personnel and Civil Service Commission, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are hereby authorized to purchase an excess worker's compensation insurance policy from AIG Insurance.  The term of the policy shall be one year for a cost of $363,320;(three hundred sixty three thousand three hundred and twenty dollars) payable from 574400, Fund 1000, Organization 999300, Sub Class 040, Budget Year 2006, Department of Personnel and Civil Service Commission.  Any agreements required for this purchase shall be approved as to form and substance by the City Solicitor.
