Resolution authorizing a Cooperation Agreement or Agreements with the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh designating URA as the City's agent for the construction of the Near Strip District Trail at a cost not to exceed $337,575.00 (Council District 6)

Be it resolved that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh hereby enacts as follows:
Section 1. The Mayor and the Director of the Department of City Planning are hereby authorized to enter into a Cooperation Agreement or Agreements with the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh ("URA") providing for the design, construction and inspection by URA of an approximately 1000-foot segment of trail known as the Near Strip District Trail along the south shore of the Allegheny River between 11th Street and the Boardwalk entertainment facility in the Strip District, the dedication of the work to the City of Pittsburgh, the waiver of permit fees for contractors employed by URA in the construction thereof, the payment of an administrative fee of 5% of the project cost to URA and providing for the transfer to URA of an amount not to exceed Three Hundred Thirty-seven Thousand Five Hundred and Seventy-five ($337,575.00) Dollars, chargeable to and payable from the following accounts:
