Resolution authorizing the Mayor and the Director of the Department of Public Works to enter into a Temporary Right of Entry and License Agreement between the City of Pittsburgh and the URA for the purpose of improvements to the playground in Larimer park in the Larimer neighborhood.

WHEREAS, The URBAN REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY (“URA”), seeks temporary access to City owned property to support the work necessary to construct improvements to Larimer Park; and
WHEREAS, the temporary access granted to URA is specifically for the purpose of constructing construction of improvements to the playground in Larimer Park; and
WHEREAS, the City wishes to facilitate these improvements and has agreed to permit URA and its contractors to enter City property temporarily, at the specific site of Larimer Park and a license to do the work of playground improvements.
Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. Intending to be legally bound, for and in consideration of the mutual premises hereinafter set forth, the parties hereto agree as follows:
Section 2. The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Public Works of the City of Pittsburgh to enter into a Temporary Right of Entry and License Agreement between the City of Pittsburgh and the URA for the purpose of improvements to the playground in Larimer Park in the Larimer neighborhood. The License and Maintenance Agreement shall be approved by the City Solicitor as to form and substance.
