Resolution providing for an Agreement with the World War II Veterans of Allegheny County Memorial Fund, Inc. for artist compensation and design fees, engineering review, materials, fabrication and installation, insurance, travel and all related project costs associated with the development of a World War II Veterans' Memorial at a cost not to exceed $50,000.00.

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. The Mayor, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh is hereby authorized to enter into an Agreement with the World War II Veterans of Allegheny County Memorial Fund, Inc., in a form approved by the City Solicitor, for artist compensation and design fees, engineering review, materials, fabrication and installation, insurance, travel and all related project costs associated with the development of a World War II Veterans' Memorial, at a cost not to exceed $50,000.00, chargeable to and payable from the 2001 Capital Budget, Mayor's Office - "WWII Monument Planning", Fund 5100, Organization 102000, Subclass PGHPR, Project/Grant 2267068, Budget Year 2001, Account 600000.
